2nd September show

A story about Orkney's  history written by Miriam Moreno Perez and read by actors Darren Williams and Helen Rule. Both Darren and Helen worked on Antal Kovacs film "Hwerow Hweg" several years ago. It was good for Helen as she had just left college and it opened doors for her. She also worked on the "Lark" which starred Mary Woodvine and was set in the old Holman's building in Camborne. A dark story, Helen played the sister and it is being shown in London in October. You can contact Helen via her web-site at http://www.helenrule.moonfruit.com  Darren has been a winner in the all England play festival and is also a one man comedy show. Miriam is writing her novel of contemporary fiction. We hope to involve them all in the programme soon. Music from the Lark composed by Paul Farmer as was the music for Orkney. Carn Brea rap written and performed by Pol Hodge, a guest on the programme in November. See all the listings in the last blog for exciting writing workshops organised by Truro library.
